About the Author
Fancy Joy is an author, poet, and creative spirit whose writing explores grief, faith, love, healing, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.
Her debut book, Life Changes: An Inspiration Book About Life, Loss and Love, was born from personal loss and the deep inner work that follows life-altering change. Through poetry, reflection, and honest storytelling, Fancy offers readers comfort, connection, and the reminder that even in broken places, hope can take root.
She is also the author of Everyday Magic: Poems and Select Writings, a tender collection celebrating the small, often-overlooked moments that carry meaning — a morning cup of coffee, a memory passed down through generations, the soft resilience of the human heart. The book includes poems by her grandmother, Gertrude, adding a timeless thread of family, legacy, and love.
Currently, Fancy is working on a memoir that tells the story of learning to love again after the loss of her husband of thirty years. Written with honesty and grace, the book reflects on grief, devotion, faith, and the unexpected ways life can begin anew even after profound loss.
Fancy’s work is guided by a simple hope: that readers feel less alone. Through her writing, she seeks to inspire empathy, faith, and healing — and to remind others that love does not end, it transforms.
When she is not writing, Fancy finds joy in creativity, reflection, and noticing the magic woven into everyday life.
